Had a fantastic time with my friends on our biking trip! After hitting the trails, we enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the local pub, perfect for catching up over a pint. Our stay included a hearty breakfast that fueled our adventures. The location was great. we loved biking the Tweedlove trails!
One downside was the room could use a bit of updating. it felt slightly tired and the TV didn’t work. Still, the staff were polite and they offered alternatives.

Secure bicycle storage, dog-friendly policies, historical architecture
Dated room decor needs immediate refurbishment!!! Noise issues from corridors can disrupt sleep, and poor room maintenance leaves much to be desired!!! Limited parking capacity adds unnecessary stress to your stay!!!

The cottage we stayed in had a lot of space, perfect for our group. The bar lounge provided a cozy atmosphere, great for evening chats. Friendly hotel staff made a noticeable difference, always smiling and helpful. the cottage felt a bit shabby. Mould in the bathroom was off-putting, and the kitchen lacked basic utensils like a chopping board. The beds weren’t very comfortable either. A few details really need attention to make it feel welcoming and clean.

The bar had a good atmosphere, and I enjoyed chatting with locals. I appreciated the staff who made our time enjoyable after a day of hiking. I found the breakfast decent and a nice way to start the day.
The en suite was small and the towel rail was broken. I found the parking limited, which was a bit inconvenient.
